The Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) invites the aerospace community from Romania to participate at the 6th edition of the Council of European Aerospace Societies (CEAS) Conference, which will take place at the Palace of the Parliament, in Bucharest, Romania, between 16 – 20 October 2017. The deadline to submit abstracts is 31 March 2017.
On 10 February 2017, the Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) Honorary President, Mr. Dumitru-Dorin Prunariu, participated at the „Diplomatic Space Breakfast” event, held at the Permanent Mission of Austria to the United Nations, in Vienna, Austria.
On 14 February 2017, a press conference to announce the 2017 edition of Asteroid Day will take place from five different locations: Luxembourg, Berlin, Silicon Valley, Bucharest and London. The Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) is a partner of the Asteroid Day campaign. The live connection from Bucharest will be done from the Cisco Centre, where Marius-Ioan Piso, President of the Romanian Space Agency and Dumitru-Dorin Prunariu, the first and only Romanian cosmonaut, will participate.
The President of the Romanian Space Agency (ROSA), Dr. Phys. Marius-Ioan Piso, is participating at the 54th edition of the Scientific and Technical Subcommittee of the UN Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space, held at the United Nations Office in Vienna, Austria, between 30 January – 10 February 2017.
On 1-2 December, Dr. Phys. Marius-Ioan Piso, President and CEO of the Romanian Space Agency (ROSA), participated at the Ministerial Council (CM16) of the European Space Agency (ESA), in Lucerne, Switzerland. The Romanian delegation at CM16 was led by Mr. Ioan Ursu, Vice-minister, the National Education and Scientific Research Ministry.
