The Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) invites you to join the second edition of CASSINI Hackathon, which will take place in Bucharest, Romania, during 5-7 November 2021, both online and live. The deadline for submitting projects is 29 October 2021.
CASSINI Hackathon is an international space tech competition which brings together entrepreneurs from ten European countries in order to discover the best solutions in solving global interest problems.
The theme of this year's competition is "Connect the Arctic". Using innovative ideas and technology, participants have the mission to find new travel routes, to protect wildlife, to help indigenous communities and to preserve the natural habitats of the distant Arctic.
Teams will be presented with 3 challenges which will test their creative skills and imagination from the very first brainstorm. They will use data from Copernicus, Galileo and EGNOS to imagine game-changing solutions and will win important prizes along the way!
In Romania, the competition is organised by IdEA- Institute of Excellence in Entrepreneurship, together with the team which forms the basis of the Commons Accel start-ups, between 5 and 7 November, in the form of a hybrid event.
