The proposed activity shall therefore investigate the feasibility and future challenges of deploying very small platforms into geostationary orbit to provide both existing and new telecommunication services. The activity shall consider the capability of platformsbelow 50 kg, taking into account recent performance improvements in terms of power provisioning and dissipation, pointing accuracy,and payload accommodation.
