Primary objective of the Very High Resolution coverage 2018 is to provide the Copernicus Service Providers and possibly other users authorised by the European Commission with a complete optical coverage of the region EU-39, with a resolution in the range of 1-3 m or better. The supply of data will be embedded in the Copernicus Space Component Data Access and operated through the systems already in use for other Copernicus datasets. The procurement intends to cover:-Development (if necessary), Maintenance and Operations of the relevant ground segment technical interfaces. New developments may be necessary for new companies or to include new missions and/or new functions. Interfaces developed in past contracts are expected to be reused directly;·Provision of the VHR images covering the region EU-39 for the reference year 2018 (i.e. images acquired in specific windows in the years 2017, 2018 and 2019) as specified in the forthcoming Data Access Portfolio (DAP) documentation.
