ESOC is the Operations Centre of the European Space Agency. The smooth running of ESA Missions and Operations, either LEOPs or routine operations, is identified at ESOC as being the main demand of ESOC key customer, the Directorate of Operations. This demand can only be fulfilled by a reliable and interruptible delivery of electrical power and air conditioning to ESOC Missions and Operations infrastructures, located in ESOC Satellite Control Rooms, Data Centres and Wiring Centres. Furthermore, the maturity level of incident management, contingency procedures and business continuity shall be appropriate to minimize the impact of utility outages on ESOCs core business.The desired core competency of the future Service Supplier for ESOC shall be Hard Services. It shall demonstrate successful experiences in delivering FM services in Operations centres sites. The operation of an owned Incident Management Centre including an incident response team would be a desired asset.ESOC users require a high quality of soft services, especially an equilibrated and excellent catering service and a clean modern working environment.ESOC EFM is looking for one single service supplier. However the option of contracting 2 service suppliers (1 soft services supplier and 1 hard services supplier) shall remain open.
