The objective of this activity is to provide support to ESA on engineering and project management tasks in the frame of both VEGA Exploitation and Development Programmes. The activity will focus on the control of compliance of Prime contractors activities with respect to their contractual commitments to technical, management and PA requirements in the fields of Ground Segment and Launch System. In the frame of the Exploitation Accompaniment Programme, the contractor shall undertake the following main tasks: – Management of technical specifications (including coherence of interfaces), analysis of anomalies, treatment of obsolescence. – Contribution to qualification logic definition and implementation for Mechanical, Fluidic and Control/Command Systems. Consolidated experience of Control Bench hardware and applicative software is mandatory.-Contribution to Ground Segment products configuration management (including operational products). In the frame of the Development Programme, the contractor shall undertake the following main tasks: – Management of the implementation of the Launch Complex Ground Proximity and Ground Support Means contracts, including definition, design, verification and synthesis- Definition, design, verification and validation of the VEGA C/VEGA E Launch System Operational Concept – Definition of the VEGA C/VEGA E Launch Base System Requirements, including Launch Vehicle-to-Launch Base Interface Requirements- Support to the VEGA C/VEGA E Ground Segment and Launch System qualification activities.- Support to the development and qualification activities of the VEGA C/VEGA E control bench hardware and software.As an outcome of the activity, it is also expected the identification and implementation of risk mitigation actions to correct potential shortcomings.
