“The aim of the Copernicus/Sentinel Program is to deliver a continuous operational service with available Earth Observation data. ESOC is currently operating the Flight Operations Segment (FOS) of Sentinel-1,2,3 A/B models and the Sentinel-5P satellite, and has plans to execute the associated LEOP of the Sentinel-6 family. ESOC Sentinels FOS will also incorporate the operations of the Sentinel-1,2,3 C/D models in the time-frame 2021-2025Part of the Sentinels FOS is:- The Mission Control System (MCS), that ESOC has procured through European Industry based on the latest ESA MCS infrastructure available at this time (SCOS-2000).- The Preparation environment for Operational Artefacts, currently based on a variety of SCOS-2000 based infrastructure tools and Copernicus specific databaseeditors. The current FOS plans include the maintenance, exploitation and evolution of the available FOS infrastructure beyond the horizon 2020, where the current underlying Sentinels MCS infrastructure and related preparation environment tools will become obsolete. Due to this obsolesce, an evolution to the future European Ground System Common Core (EGS-CC) based MCS infrastructure, currently under implementation and called MICONYS-CC (including EGS-CC based MCS infrastructure and the Operation Preparation Environmentframework (OPEN)), will be required. This activity will study the required Preparation Environment covering both the development and utilisation of it with the following major aims: – Develop an efficient and mature Operational Preparation environment for the Common Core based MC system of Copernicus.- Demonstrate efficient handling of the Operational Artefacts for the Sentinel multi-satellites constellations, starting with the incorporation of the Sentinel-1,2,3 C/D models to ESOC FOS as an initial use-case- Facilitatethe migration of the Copernicus fleet by providing preliminary migrated artefacts for a Sentinel Spacecraft as required for a Common Core MC system. The system will build upon the existing OPEN framework and extend the Preparation Environment for Missions (OPEN-M) developments performed as part of EGOS-CC project. This ITT is funded by the Copernicus Programme and will be open exclusively to economic operators which have their registered office in an EU Member State or Iceland or Norway. In order to access the ITT Package from EMITS, a potential tenderer must be registered in ESA STAR. Any potential tenderer not yet registered with ESA must complete the online questionnaire, read more about the process here While the registration process is underway, tenderers may access the ITT Package through ESA’s dedicated Copernicus server, which is accessible at: are informed, however, that they must be registered in ESA STAR before they can submit a proposal
