ESA wishes to investigate the feasibility of an economically viable, that is commercially self-sustainable approach for access to space of satellites with a mass up to 200 Kg.The proposed approach should provide competitive launch services to worldwide customers with missions in the mass category listed above. Customer requirements should be put at the forefront to deliver the best product at the lowest possible price. Therefore, the main objective of the feasibility study object of this SoW is the demonstration of theeconomic viability w/o public funding of a proposed launch service making use of a micro-launcher responding to customers requirements, in relation with technical concept tradeoff and analysis. Appropriate business, technical and programmatic documentation as well as an identification of the technology maturations (incl. on technologies not developed in the ESA framework) and innovation processes is expected as an outcome of the study, in order to prepare subsequent phases.
