This activity will initiate the establishment of expert centres for federated laser-tracking and optical observations. In this first phase, it will start by consolidating requirements and plans derived in previous activities and will then implement the core functionalities of the expert centres. Focus will be on designing, implementing, and testing the functionalities for planning, observation coordination and processing, calibration, and support. For verifying and validating the functionalities, test campaigns will be planned and executed to coordinate the observations from multiple sites and to further test the related technologies, also in order toprovide data for the parallel T&V activities of the SST systems.
