This activity aims at:-Design, optimisation and proof of concept by simulation and test at breadboard level in a representative environment of the use of highly energetic exothermic reactions for demise purposes. The desirability and viability of different use cases for exothermic reaction aided demise proposed in [RD05], including but not limited to interface separation, harness/pipe severing, and sequencing of multiple ignition events, need to be assessed.-Design and verification of different fuse concepts to reliably provide the energy needed for ignition at various temperatures.-Devise design guidelines for use of the technology in various equipment
