Objective(s) of the Activity: The objectives for the Contractor of this activity are:1. To investigate several smart system heaterconcepts and perform a trade-off.2. To select one concept for a smart heater system for satellites, with approval from the Agency and detail the design of the selected system.3. To design, develop and manufacture a system breadboard of the selected smart heatersystem. Manufacturing of breadboards on component level is optional. 4. To evaluate by test the smart heater system breadboard in a thermal vacuum chamber, in accordance with the requirements provided in Annex C.5. The smart heater system shall reach TRL 4at the end of this activity.Procurement Policy: C(1) = Activity restricted to non-prime contractors (incl. SMEs).
