The objective of this activity is to perform a system requirements review and a preliminary design of a sMMGS (“secure Multi Mission Ground Station “) interfacing with the basic infrastructure at ESEC REDU for hosting and supporting multiple security projects. This sMMGS shall enhance the operation of future Space missions and in particular the Cyber Security monitoring thereof thereby allowing an evolution of the existing capabilities at ESEC REDU, with the objective to support cyber security services, the development of new space missions as well as to support non-space applications such as those associated with drones, autonomous vehicles leveraging with satellite based resources for communications, earth observation or geo-navigation/positioning. This sMMGS shall be a secureplatform able to abstract from space mission applications simulating specific and heterogeneous hardware functionalities. It shall interface with the existing basic infrastructure (ground systems/antennas/cable routing/security/management tool) for hosting and actively supporting multiple security projectsThe objective of this activity is to perform a system requirements review and a preliminary design of a sMMGS (“secure Multi Mission Ground Station “) interfacing with the basic infrastructure at ESEC REDU for hosting and supporting multiple security projects.
