ESA as the qualification authority of the VEGA-C Launch System and Launch Operator for the first qualification campaign (FM1), is liable to ensure the Safety compliance of all VEGA-C Launch System definition and qualification. In the same period, the Space Rider programme is also part of the ESA mission. ESA shall manage the Safety compliance of the Space Rider System, considering also interfaces with Launcher (VEGA-C), launch complex and Launch Range in Kourou (French Guyana) or in Acores (Portugal).The activities subject to this ITT are to be performed in the frame of the safety technical support to ESA VEGA-C and Space Rider System programmes according to the ESA applicable documents to be referred in the tender. For Vega-C, the activities shall be planned from the VEGA-C qualification flight FM1 up to FM4, including level 0 1 post flight analysis. The safety support requested for the Space Rider System will be put in place up to completion with the level 0 1 post analysis after re-entry, landing and refurbishment of the Reentry Module Maiden flight.The main activities foreseen are:1.Preparation and follow-up of the Safety submissions phase 1/2/3 for VEGA-CLaunch System, including the Launch Range adaptation to VEGA-C, the Launcher Safety preparation campaign in Kourou (Safety submission phase 1 2, lists of deliveries expected from industries, Safety key-points, safety process, general planning….).2.Support tothe ESA Safety manager in the preparation of the Attestation of Conformity of the Launch System VEGA-C according to the legal framework LOS for the maiden flight (FSOA).3.Support for the follow up of the LARES 2 Safety preparation campaign in Kourou (Safety submission phase 1 2, lists of deliveries expected from industries, Safety key-points, safety process, general planning….).4.Preparation of the Safety submissions process (phase 12) for Space Rider System, including the Launch Range adaptation in Kourou.5.Support to the ESA Safety manager in the preparation of the different Attestation of Conformity of the Space Rider System authorizations according to the legal framework LOS for the maiden flight (FSOA).
