The subject procurement is for two lots of seismic consolidation works to be implemented on two buildings at ESRIN. Lot 1: Building 12 The seismic consolidation works of Building 12 consist in the complete demolition of the existing masonry building (11m x 31m x H 4.70m) in order to reconstruct a seismically resistant office building with similar dimensions, provided with efficient infrastructure installation and materials. Lot 2: Building 1 The seismic consolidation of Building 1 consist in retrofitting the ground floor of the existing building by using two techniques: seismic base isolators, which will be installed under 55 columns and carbon fibre reinforced polymers. Therefore a refurbishment of the whole ground floor (630msq) will be developed by implementing new architectural features and infrastructure installations. Tenderers will be invited to bid for either of the lots or for both. A site visit will be organised as part of the tendering period.
