PLATO (PLAnetary Transits and Oscillations of stars) is the third medium class Mission (M3) of the Cosmic Vision Programme. The mission was adopted by ESAs Science Programme Committee (SPC) in June 2017. The mission aims to detect and characterize a large numberof terrestrial exoplanets around bright solar-type stars, including planets orbiting in the system habitable zone. The scientific payload is provided by the PLATO Mission Consortium (PMC) and comprises 26 wide field cameras and associated data processing units. The subject of the proposed procurement is the service of a Coordinated Parts Procurement Agent (CPPA) for the handling and common procurement of the EEE components to be used within the PMC. The main objective of the CPPA is to ensure quality of the EEE componentsfor the PLATO Payload in compliance with the applicable Product Assurance requirements, to support the instrument teams in the selection of their components and to ensure the timely delivery while minimizing the associated costs (sharing the procurement of the various users and optimizing the non recurrent costs).
