Multibeam scanning during receive at Ka-band using high gain pencil beams can reduce the transmit powerrequirements by factors andallows transmit power levels well within today technologies even with significant swathand/or resolution improvement.Within the activity SCORE (SCan-On-REceive) based on multibeam antennas shall be studied and developed and afeasibility demonstrator shall be build suitable for reflector based Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR). The demonstratorshall consist of:- Dual polarisation multi-feed array with Low Noise Amplifier- Fast switching matrix for feed selection- Multi-channel down-converter with Analog Digital Converter- Digital beam formerThe work included in this activity consists in:- Preliminary design of the frontend with trade-off analysis.- Detailed design of critical elements- Hardware build, performance test and Score demonstration.- Evaluation
