Among its activities for Earth Observation education and training, the Agency intends to develop and operate its first Massive OpenOnline Course on EO Land Applications, including a series of re-runs. Differently from other previous ESA MOOCs, this shall be a thematic application oriented course, rather than sensor oriented, and it shall address the combination of different satellite sensors(SAR, optical, thermal, active/passive) and techniques. Moreover, it shall include the use of many new and historical relevant missions, such as the Sentinels, EE missions, TPM, as well as the ERS and ENVISAT archive.
