Objective(s) of the Activity:The objective of this activity is the detailed design and development of a large deployable reflectorof 8 m RF radiating aperture featuring a complimentary RF reflective surface technology to metallic mesh. The targeted operational frequency shall be suitable for operation in at least Ka-Band, in the vicinity of 36.5 GHz. Hardware to be produced during this activity are:- Breadboards for verification of functional and environmental requirements- Samples for verification of properties and performance (e.g. material parameters, RF parameters)- Demonstrator model of representative quality for a flight demonstrator, to betested for deployment functions and main critical environments.
