EO4Infrastructure has the objective to develop a demonstration project for infrastructure monitoring utilizing EO assets (Copernicus, Earth Explorers and commercial available high resolution data) together with additional information layers (e.g. operational available land cover maps, in-situ measurement networks, etc…). Utilisation and its implementation on exploitation and/or data platforms such as the Copernicus Data and Information Access Systems (DIAS) is encouraged. The project shall focus on one pre-selected infrastructure and design the demonstration project together with end user organisations (public authorities and their supporting civil engineering entities) in three different ESA member states. A deployment of the monitoring system on the premises of the engaged endusers and a demonstration of minimum six months is part of the project. A particular effort should be devoted to the possible workflows present in the different countries, the identification of best practises and the related EO data/information integration. This process shall be supported by relevant workshops and co-location meetings and shall result in recommendation for information and processing standards. As such the project also supports the definition phase of the planned European Ground Motion Service (EGMS) in assessing preliminary requirements as outlined in the EGMS White Paper for their use in infrastructure monitoring services
