ESA Open Invitation to Tender: 1-11135
Open Date: 11/05/2022 10:04 CEST
Closing Date: 08/06/2022 13:00 CEST
The European Space Agency (ESA or the Agency’) has its headquarters (HQ) in Paris, in Rue Mario Nikis, in buildings it has occupied for more than 45 years. The site forms an integral part of the urban environment of this area of central Paris alongside other international and national institutions which include ministries, UNESCO, and so on. ESA decided to implement a programme of renovation and transformation of its Headquarters and, to that end, commissioned architectural practice Atelier du Pont under a preliminary study contract (CEP) to draw up a concept design (APS) on that, and in order to proceed with the implementation of the project, a real estate development contract (CPI) was then entrusted to SOGELYM INGENIERIE. ESA is assisted by the company COLLIERS acting in the capacity of principal Assistant Contract Authority (AMO), while also benefiting from consultancy advice from the company LMI for the audio/visual mission and the company Majorelle as office space planner. Since the initiation of the HQ Project, the project is now on track (Building permit obtained, Property Developer contract in place) and the delivery is planned by the end of 2022. The CPI has the full responsibility of the workplace until the delivery of the premises foreseen in November 2022. The interior fit-out works and the Astrolabe related works will only start after the premises delivery from the CPI.
