The European Commission and the European Space Agency (ESA) have signed an agreement on the implementation of Horizon 2020 Framework Programme for Research and Innovation in Satellite Navigation. The Work Plan for 2015 specifies the Research Development activities that shall be addressedunder the Transfer of Funds Agreement for the budgetary execution year 2015. All activities shall be initiated in the year 2016. The Work Plan has been prepared by ESA and approved by the Commission Directorate responsible for the European Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) Programmes. ESA has received funds in its quality as funding body under the European Unions Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme.
