H2020-ESA-029 G2G Satellite and Payload Test bed. Development of a laboratory Satellite and Payload Test Bed in support to the implementation of Galileo 2nd Generation, including the development/adaptation of facilities, the integration of units developed under past and ongoing activities (e.g. timing subsystem units, transponders, …), and the execution of relevant testing. The Test Bed will serve as a pathfinder tool for ESA and Industry to better understand and characterise the next generation equipment and to evaluate/predict their impact in terms of e.g. end-to-end navigation performance, robustness, or new signal design and implementation. As such it will also provide a reference environment for the testing on ground of the related technologies and equipment.
