The aims of the activity are to critically review recent and upcoming or new passive optical technologies (optics, detectors, Cal/Val) that can be used in miniaturized instruments and satellites, and to derive from this small satellite instruments and mission concepts, primarily for geophysical retrieval for operational or scientific EO missions, but also for change detection applications.
