DESRIPTION OF THE FRAME CONTRACT: The following activities are foreseen within this contract: 1.1 SSDB Maintenance The Agency plans to maintain the SSDB software up to full coverage by the SIB software of the capability offered by the SSDB. During this transition period (possibly one to two years), the SSDB software shall be maintained, including bug fixing and implementation of mission specific functionalities that cannot be integrated within the SIB software. 1.2 VEGA VIDB/FED Maintenance The Agency plans to maintain the VEGA VIDB and FED software up to full coverage by the SIB software of the capability offered by the SSDB. During this transition period (possibly one to two years), the VEGA VIDB and FED software shall be maintained, including bug fixing, implementation of mission specific functionalities that cannot be integrated within the SIB software. After full availability of the required functionality in the SIB, porting of legacy information to the new system also needs to be covered here. 1.3 SIB Evolutive maintenance A first version of the SIB was delivered in October 2013. This first version covers the basic capabilities required by the projects that use the SCOS Mission Control System. The SIB is currently in use to support Galileo FOC, Earth Care, Sentinel 2, Sentinel 3 and Small Geo, and it is planned to use the SIB across all ESA Projects i.e. independent of the specific project database schema. The capabilities of the SSDB that are not yet implemented fully in the SIB software include the following functions (this list is not meant to be exhaustive): – editors and viewers implementing the stakeholder views of the data; – editors and viewers depending on the specific project database schema; – import and export means depending on the stakeholder views of the data; – import and export means depending on the specific project database schema; – the capability to tailor the data model, viewers and constraints according to the need of each mission; – the capability to calculate statistics related to the completeness of the data population; – the capability to report the difference between two specific databases according to the stakeholder views of the data; – the capability to detect and report the impacts to data validation deriving from the applied database changes and according to the stakeholder views of the data; – thedevelopment of a syntax and grammar driven system for handling the correctness of a generic script based database objects such as SPEL synthetic parameters, PLUTO procedures, etc. – the development of the interfaces to external database systems (such as the Automatic Scheduling Execution (ASE) tool for PLUTO procedures); – the implementation of the PUS consistency check according to a given PUS tailoring for a given PUS database implementation (the starting PUS database implementation is the SCOS 2000 ICD);the developmentof the TMTC Handbook (for Operations) generator infrastructure. DESCRIPTION OF THE COO#1: The objective of this first work order isthe development of the SRDB change report and the SRDB impact analysis report functionalities of the SIB database system. This objective includes: – upgrading the SIB administration area to allow modelling all SRDB stakeholders view of the data for SRDB changes generation and impact analysis reporting; -developing the SIB man machine interface to make support to the knowledge required to the SRDB changes generation and impact analysis reporting; – developing the SIB SRDB differences reporting facility – developing the SIBSRDB impact analysis facility
