The objective of this activity is to establish user requirements for next generation satellite earth observation systems covering the Polar Regions. The scope of this activity shall include identification of requirements coming from key user communities within earth sciences, institutional organisations and private companies. The analysis shall include the identification and consolidation ofexisting information needs and priorities within the communities, current state of the art in term of EO use, gaps analysis, PEST analysis for future needs identification, identification and elaboration of novel space based mission concepts that could fill these information gaps.
