The Alphasat TDP5 experiments have made considerable progress and resulted in many new developments so it is now possible to perform new experiments to include:1) Medium scale site diversity using 2 or more stations in one of the 3 TDP5 communication beams (e.g.Graz and Budapest in EU1 beam, Tito and Matera in the IT1 beam or Milano – Spino d’Adda in IT2 beam)2) Smart gateway test on largescale involving more 3 or more stations in all TDP5 Antenna beams (e.g. Graz, Spino, Milan, Tito, Rome and Matera)3) The execution of a regional resource sharing experiment (RSE) where a network of small (VSAT or IoT class) Q/V band terminals monitor local channel conditions and report back to a regional Gateway which adapts in real-time individual radio links. These new experiments will improve the representativeness of the TDP5 campaign with respect to actual Q/V band Satcom system configurations and operations,In this activity the contractor shall use the existing infrastructure of Alphasat TDP5 ground segment and the most recent technological developments in terms of technology for the ground segment to define a new set of Alphasat Aldo Paraboni TDP5 experiments.Procurement Policy: C(3) = Activity restricted to SMEs RD Entities.
