The objective of this framework is to support the implementation of cubesat missions for space technology demonstrations as well asspace sciences and applications (not purely commercial). The implementation shall cover the different tasks that go from the missionstudy to the operations infrastructure and support. The number of cubesat missions is constantly increasing and cubesats are targeting application and space science domains. Due to their contained budgets and short development time, they are also a tool increasingly adopted to prepare for future and innovative missions by validating space technologies, techniques and operations. This growth requires progress in cubesat capabilities and performances that call for the development of the required technologies allowing thesenew challenges to be met. It should be added that this increase in cubesat missions is also accompanied by a growth in the associatedeconomy, particularly among small/medium sized companies and start-ups forming this dynamic part of the space sector. Successful cubesat missions implemented in GSTP will help the cubesat industry to attract private/public investment and commercial customers. Support to previous GSTP cubesat activities for both missions and technology developments has allowed for the development and implementation of missions (GOMX, QARMAN, PICASSO, SIMBA, RADCUBE, Austrian cubesat) and associated technologies (star sensor, RF systems, payloads). This activity will support the preparation and implementation of future missions.NOTE: This activity is currently in theGSTP Work Plan but will only be implemented after confirmation of financial support from Delegations. The final list of participating states will be known at tender issue.
