The subject of this procurement is the provision of Engineering Support Services for different activities related with the PayloadData Ground Segment (PDGS). The PDGS covers the whole payload data processing chain, from instrument data acquisition to user access to mission data sets, and includes mission planning, systematic data processing, cal/val processing, data archiving, reprocessing,discovery and dissemination and overall PDGS monitoring and reporting.The support services required under this contract will coverthe following areas:1.PDGS development;2.PDGS Operations;3.Common Services Operations;4.EO Data and Knowledge Preservation;5.International Charter for Emergency;6.ICT infrastructure and Security.For the following missions1.Earth Explorers (operational and future):2.Heritage Missions3.Proba-V;4.ALTIUS;5.Third Party Missions.The required services will support the wholelife cycle of the PDGS, in particular: 1.Technical Specification,2.Design and development,3.Validation and commissioning,4.Routine operations,5.Long Term Data Preservation.Actual execution of PDGS Operational services, new developments and maintenanceare outsourced to external providers. The Engineering Support Services will require continuous interactions with industry, internalESA units and partner organizations.
