The objective of ths activity is to develop a prototype engineering model of a fixed satellite system (FSS) capable Ka-band transponder. Targeted Improvements: Miniaturise a FSS Ka-band transponder with target size, weight and power of < 12 W DC consumption, > 1W RF power, < 1.5 U physical size.
