1.Critically assess and discuss technical and scientific requirements for the Geology Mobile Package for the EL3 Polar Explorer mission and derive high level payload requirements.2.Assess the engineering constraints and technical and operational challenges of a mobile operation of a Geology package in the lunar environment, particularly at geographically high latitudes (=85) and noting the requirement for lunar night survival.3.Perform a trade-off between possible instruments suites of the Geology package and associated support equipment and functions that can meet the science requirements, including considering flexibility to different scenario objectives.4.Develop a preliminary payload design based on previous studies and own trade-off, including the interface and the operation of such a payload as part of the EL3 Polar Explorer mission. 5.Conclude the study with a programmatic assessment.
