In order to enable cost efficient, low power and highly integrated adaptable radio solutions, Custom-of-the-Shelf (COTS) Radio Frequency System-on-Chip (RFSoC) Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) devices are available which have unknown or not guaranteed performance under radiation. Several activities have already been performed focusing on the processor and programmable logic fabric of FPGA System-on-Chips (SoC), but there is limited public information available on the Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC), Digital-to-Analog converter (DAC) and corresponding analogue fabric of RFSoCs. The activity shall consist of the performance evaluation of ADC and DAC functional blocks integrated in Xilinx ZYNQ Ultra Scale+ (XZUP) RfSoC devices under radiation. Design, development and radiation testing of a test board shall be performed and the corresponding radiation test approach, procedure and plan defined.
