The European Space Agency (the Agency or ESA) invites you to submit a Proposal under the General Support Technology Programme, Element 1: Assessment to Prepare and De-Risk Technology Developments Framework. The objective of the GSTP E1 de-risk framework isto prepare and de-risk potential development activities. The de-risk activities will help evaluate the potential added value, to address critical issues as well as to orient and adapt the potential follow-on development activities with respect to various aspects (i.e. technical, implementation, application, cost). De-risks activities should address any of the following application domains: Earth observation, science exploration, human spaceflight, space transportation, satellite navigation or generic technologies. The total cost for a given de-risk activity shall not exceed 200.000 Euro. The total cost for a given de risk activity that does not include experimental work (i.e. breadboarding/testing) shall not exceed 80.000 Euro. The maximum duration for an activity shall be 9 months.
