Upgrade the European Ground System – Common Core (EGS-CC) Technology Baseline to avoid obsolescence and possibly improve the baseline. It includes current status evaluation, impact and risk analysis and proposed migration. EGS-CC’s “Technology Baseline Definition” document provides an up-to-date list of technologies used by EGS-CC and its Software Development Environment (SDE). After 3 years of development, and even though EGS-CC is not yet in a final state, some technology obsolescence is experienced. To optimize currentimplementation and to avoid problems when starting to use EGS-CC, this topic needs to be addressed. Upgrading EGS-CC’s technology baseline now, before the framework is used in production, would help minimize the impacts.
