The EGS-CC (European Ground System Common Core) project aims at developing the common core functions of the next generation European Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) and Mission Control Systems (MCS). The facilities build from the EGS-CC will support the functional verification (FV) of satellites at early development stages, the satellite level assembly integration and verification (AIV) process and the Mission Control pre- and post-launch. The EGS-CC project is currently in phase C/D.The European stakeholdersare preparing their infrastructure to incorporate the EGS-CC and improve the overall functionality (e.g. AIRBUS ACCEPTO project). The objectives are: Build an EGS-CC competence to master the CCS and test benches customization and deployment. Extend the domain of competence from SCOEs development to CCS, offering also an alternative source for the provision of check-out systems on coming ESA projects Familiarise on System Avionics testing through translation of test sequences (e.g. in EAPL language) and by executingthem on a simulated environment (ghost activity) allowing to demonstrate the correct behaviour / non regression of the EGS-CC environment. This activity allows to build-up knowledge on the EGS-CC and specifically on its applications for Functional Verification using test facilities and Monitoring Control tools in the space domain and others. It will contribute to the integration of the EGS-CC in stakeholders infrastructures. This activity will prepare for future participation in European Programs.
