Since the inauguration in 1968, the ESTEC site has constantly grown. Its meeting and conference facilities have now reached an extremely high occupancy rate and are too frequently fully booked, thus affecting the efficiency of the ESTEC working environment. ESTEChosts a large number of events (conferences, workshops, and high-level meetings) but in recent years has been unable to satisfy thedemand for events. In addition to that, ESAs Security regulations limit the circulation of external personnel on site making theorganization of meetings with external participants very burdensome.Therefore, ESTEC has embarked in the project to build a new facility, dedicated to meetings and conferences and responding to an increased security threat.Sandrine DijouxProject Coordinator HIF-ETF
