The objective of this procurement is to support ESA in preparing the migration of the Copernicus Mission Control System (MCS) to the next generation of MCS infrastructure. The new MCS infrastructure baseline is called the European Ground Operational Software Common Core (EGOS-CC); this is the ESOC adoption of the European Ground Systems Common Core (EGS-CC). The current Copernicus/Sentinels MCS infrastructure (based on ESAs multi-mission Satellite Monitoring and Control system called SCOS-2000) is part of the Flight Operations Segment (FOS) for the Sentinels and will endeavour a major evolution as of 2020. In order to be prepared for such infrastructure evolution, the activities covered within this procurement will include the development of a prototype of an EGOS-CC based Copernicus/Sentinels MCS and associated operational artefacts to shape the future migration of the Copernicus/Sentinels MCS, based on SCOS-200 to an EGOS-CC/EGS-CC based system. This ITT is funded by the Copernicus Programme and will be open exclusively to economic operators which have their registered office in an EU Member State, Iceland or Norway. In order to access the ITT Package from EMITS, a bidder must be registered in EMITS as a potential ESA supplier. Any bidder which is not yet registered with ESA as a potential supplier must complete the online questionnaire on EMITS, under the tab Entity registration. Further information onthe registration process can be found in ESA’s INDUSTRY PORTAL available at:http://www.esa.int/About_Us/Business_with_ESAWhile the registration process is underway, bidders may access the ITT Package through ESA’s Copernicus server, accessible at:https://copernicus-emits.esa.int/Bidders are informed, however, that they must be registered in EMITS before they can submit a proposal
