Objectives: To provide a model-based avionics environment consistent with the SAVOIR approach ensuring a digital continuity along the Phases-B1/B2/C for functional and electronic hardware of the systemDescription SAVOIR (avionics harmonisation working group regrouping agencies, primes and suppliers) has produced a model-based avionics roadmap (SAVOIR-TN-003) that describes the user needs, therequirements and the architecture of a so-called “avionics factory”, i.e. The model based environment. The activity shall produce, from existing building blocks, an integrated environment aiming at demonstrating the digital continuity of avionics design: this includes a preliminary architecture and concept from a concurrent design mission definition, a functional description (including operational viewpoint, functional architecture, physical architecture), a software architecture and a hardware architecture. The hardware-software co-design will be considered in relation with e.g. The reprogrammable fpgas. The design analysers allowing to make trade-offs or to proof the design shall be included, in particular commandability/observability, bus load and data latency, on-board functions and performance (there will be a particular focus on FDIR and AOCS). The related process w.r.t. The projects phases and reviews shall be documented. Product Line management shall be analysed and implemented in the environment. The Product Assurance aspects shall be analysed and documented, in particular:(1) to define an approach, including the methods and techniques, to provide confidence that product line (or building blocks) based [software] systems satisfy the necessary qualification requirements and demonstrate their suitability in a multi-release and multi-user context during maintenance and operations,(2) to integrate the above engineering process with Product Assurance processes (including the definition of a quality model for models). The SAVOIR avionics and software reference architecture (SAVOIR-TN-001 and TN-002) shall be implemented with the environment, possibly instantiated on a reference mission of choice.Candidates building blocks are OCDT, Capella, OSRA editor, TASTE, Panda, COMPASS, AAML, MatlabThe activity encompasses the following tasks:- definition of requirement and architecture of the avionics factory- implementation of the factory including documentation- demonstration of the digital continuity with the SAVOIR reference architectureSoftware shall be delivered underan Esa Software Community Licence, so that any individuals or entities whithin ESA Member States can access to it and can provide update to the community of users.
