The objectives of ARTES Competitiveness Growth are to ensure the readiness of the industry to respond to commercial opportunities by focusing the activities on technological innovation in equipment, systems and applications for satellite communication, resulting in products ready for future exploitation within either the commercial or institutional market. The program supports space, ground and applications segments as well as overall system-related activities. The technology phase supports the introduction of new technologies and shall cover activities to mitigate the technical risks of the product development, excluding qualification or industrialization.- The product phase shall cover the development of a product ready for commercial exploitation. This phase shall include qualification (for space) or verification in a non-operational environment (for ground segment) or validation in a satcom system (for applications).- The demonstration phase shall cover Atlas activities to gain flight heritage, verification activities in the operational environment for ground segment and pilot phases for applications/services validated with relevant users and customers. A dedicated always open Call for Proposal addressing Newcomers is also available answering to the ARTES entry program as part of ARTES CG. The reporting of new comer activities is embedded within the Technology, Product and Demonstration Phases. The above keyword is given as an example for this Call for Proposals.
