The study will deal with the analysis and prioritisation of needs and interests over the Arctic region, in order to produce a set of preliminary requirements for an Arctic Mission architecture (system of systems).Existing assets addressing prioritised requirements will be identifies, and a gap analysis will be conducted. Solution in terms of payloads, space and ground segment will be proposed, with the involvement of Delegations and ESA Programmes.The work will include preliminary identification of mission concepts (payload, platform, launcher, operations) and cost analyses for all relevant technology pre-developments.Preliminary design of the mostpromising concepts will be performed and in order to enable a follow-up phase A study.
