The European Space Agency (the Agency) hereby invites you to submit an outline proposal, in the frame of the Permanently Open Call for Outline Proposals under the Estonian Industry Incentive Scheme.The present ITT is addressed only to Estonian companies (including SMEs) and academic and research organizations. This ITT is part of the Estonian Industry Incentive Scheme aimed at supporting the participation of Estonia in ESA mandatory activities (especially the Scientific Programme) and in the ESA optional programmes that Estonia subscribes to. The subject of this ITT is exclusively for the following activity types:a. Hardware activities (e.g. flight hardware) with preference for those related to generic technologies, products and equipment for satellite platforms or ground stations and with potential for re-use (the start TRL shall be at least 3 and the target TRL shall be at least 5);b. Research and development activities (including technology demonstrations, industrial processes and their qualification/certification) leading to hardware or software products, services or generic technologies with potential for re-use. The start TRL shall be at least 2 and the target TRL should be TRL 4 or below;c. Preparatory activities (e.g. feasibility studies, technology assessments, user requirements or market surveys) and/or ESA mission related services to support national competitiveness in ESA programmes (optional and mandatory) to which Estonia subscribes or intends to subscribe;d. Space applications, products and services making use of space infrastructure (e.g. data, satellites) that is already existing or scheduled for operation in the near term and with a clear potential market and sustainable business. The start TRL shall be at least 4.Note: education and awareness activities shall not be considered in the present call.
