The objective of the activity is to consolidate the AIM mission and system design. In continuation of the phase A/B, this activity shall therefore further consolidate the work based on an updated payload reference suite, consolidated close-proximity operations scenario and implementation plan. At the end of this activity, the target is to reach a consolidated baseline mission and satellite architecture, finalize all trade-offs, as a consequence the various top-level requirements will be updated. The mission phases will be further broken down and analysed, including the Didymos asteroid approach, the proximity and selected payload operations. The required mission performances will be further evaluated and consolidated. The spacecraft system design will be iterated verified against the launcher latest performances analysis the updated requirements, the detailed system specifications established. The various budgets (mass, power, GNC, AOCS, delta-V, thermal, data, communication and SW) consolidated in order to flow-down the system requirements to the lower levels at subsystem and equipment level covering all disciplines. NOTE: THIS ACTIVITY IS CURRENTLY IN THE GSTP WORK PLAN BUT WILL ONLY BE IMPLEMENTED AFTER CONFIRMATION OF FINANCIAL SUPPORT FROM DELEGATIONS. AT THAT TIME A PLANNED QUARTER FOR TENDER ISSUE WILL BE CONFIRMED AND BIDDERS WILL BE ABLE TO EXPRESS THEIR INTEREST IN THE ACTIVITY.
