The objective of the activity is to initiate the development of a European multi-mission Moon Rover system (EMRS). The EMRS will be closely linked with the European Large Logistic Lander (EL3) in that it will provide Moon surface capabilities for EL3 missions that require them. We are looking for a rover concept that can perform the Polar Explorer, ISRU Pilot Plant, and Astrophysics Lunar Observatory (ALO) missions. Given the rather diverse requirements of the three reference missions, the interested tenderers are challenged to use modularity and multi-mission capable technologies to achieve the desired result. The procurement will be open competition to all industrial entities, ensuring an open competitive approach preparing further steps. Parallel contracts are foreseen in case of competitive complementary proposals. Furthermore, the participation of SME’s will be encouraged. The duration of the system study will be 9 months from kick-off to final approval of all deliverables
