The objective of this Invitation to Tender is to analyse the technical and economic feasibility of new services that can be appliedon Earth and are relevant to future operations in Space. The services put forward should rely on technologies that could be used forfuture in-situ resources utilisation (ISRU), while having a positive business case in the short-term on Earth. The solution can involve satellite data, space technologies or spin-outs of technologies derived from space. Scenarios to be considered include reducingthe use of water in mining, energy generation and storage, remote and autonomous operations, agile and precise mining operations, and 3D printing and additive manufacturing.
