New connectors (e.g. fast locking connectors, modular connectors, high power/high temperature connectors) and cables (e.g. high power/high temperature cables, flat cables) could lead to mass reduction and integration improvement of launcher harnesses. A previous activity TRP T523-415QT has demonstrated noticeable mass saving if relevant design rules are applied. The activity aims to take intoaccount the specificity of launcher requirement to select new connectors and cables to design harness. It is needed to review the new technologies available on the market to reduce the mass, AIT operation and cost of launcher harnesses.This activity encompasses the following tasks :- survey of the current technology used and launcher requirement- selection of new connectors and cables for design of the harness taking into account the updated derating rules as an outcome of the activity T523-415QT)- manufacturing and testing critical element of harness- assess the gain and potential improvements
