Objective(s) of the Activity: The objectives of the proposed activity are to make a trade-off of terrestrial static and dynamic seal mechanisms presenting interesting features for ISRU-related applications and identify the most promising technology. The definition of a set of requirements shall serve the design of a breadboard of an exemplary process reactor hatch, to be further manufacturedand comprehensively tested. Serviceability for such a mechanism will also be considered. A technology roadmap development shallbe prepared.
