The objective of this activity is the development of advanced, cost and mass effective aluminum fittings and joining technologies in CFRP tubes to be applied in high dimensional accuracy demanding applications and large temperature ranges.The activity shall cover the identification of suitable concepts, materials and joining technologies, the preliminary design of the most promising concepts and the development of manufacturing processes including screening on sample level.This shall be followed by the detailed designand analysis of a breadboard to be manufactured and characterized and verified by test.Procurement Policy: C(1) = Activity restricted to non-prime contractors (incl.
