Update Reason: Tender issue

The first objective of the present activity is to trade-off different alternative feed systems in order to implement a simultaneousX- and K-band Uplink and Downlink in all three ESA’s DSAs (Cebreros, Malargüe and New Norcia). The X-/K-band feed system recently developed for DSA2 and DSA3 will be considered a starting point for the activity. A preliminary optical trade-off analysis conducted by ESA is provided in Annex A (of the SoW) as a reference. Given a selected feed system configuration for each DSA as a result of the trade-off, the following objective is to perform its detailed design followed by the manufacturing and testing of a breadboard of selected critical items.
