ESA is looking for a commercial partner who will develop and operate an online shop for ESA merchandise, create and sell a diverse range of products currently not available to the general public, and provide a convenient way for fulfilling internal/partner bulk orders. The main goal of these activities is ensuring the availability of ESA merchandise to the general public and other interestedstakeholders, while simultaneously ensuring that the merchandise remains diverse and engaging over time, has the capability to reflect ESAs past, present and upcoming activities as well as external trends, and allows responding to potential custom requests.The services to be provided include: the development of the online shop platform; launch, on-going promotion, operation and development of the shop; and initial and subsequent on-going merchandise development. The online shop platform is defined as all hardware, software and services needed to facilitate secure online shopping, delivery of merchandise and after-sales service. Shop operation includes but is not limited to: inventory management, order processing and fulfilment, quality assurance and customer support. Shop development comprises activities to ensure that the shop will be able to adapt and expand technologically, as the purpose of the shop evolves and/or new products and services are required and created.The Contractor is expected to have demonstrable success in the business of supplying and/or distributing promotional merchandise, an international presence, proven experience in selling goods online via a user-friendly e-commerce system, proven experience in handling and fulfilling bulk orders, and resources and willingness to work in accordance with ESAs commitment to sustainability.
