This EXPRO+ procurement is part of the NAVISP Programme, under Elelment 1, Work Plan 2018.This activity aims to develop a proof of concept system based on a network of quickly deployable transceivers, to be used as a supporting system to the service of emergency resolution operations for deep indoor and/or in large scale crisis situations. The study analyses the impact that different signal characteristics have on the navigation and communication performances of users in harsh conditions and accommodate the results ofthis study to the mapping on the configurability and flexibility required by such a system in its architecture and signal generation aspects to fulfil the different crisis cases and conditions, primarily for the provision of robust and accurate navigation and communication functions. The collection of requirements shall be validated using small scale demonstration of critical function.
