This study shall provide:- an ex-post analysis of ESA Member States’ investments in the activities run by the Directorate of Operations as described in 1.4.1.2 items I – IV; and- an ex-ante assessment focusing on dedicated case studies of the Space Safety Programme (S2P).The ex-ante socio-economic impact assessment of selected case studies from Space Safety will be conducted separately and in parallel of the ex-post analysis. The list of selected projects for the case studies will be provided by ESA. The focus of the ex-ante socio-economic impact assessment of the Space Safety case studies should be on demonstrating benefits of the selected missions and projects in terms of industrial competitiveness, market opportunities and innovation. The development of the case studies will include an extensive data collection including desk research and stakeholder consultation with both ESA experts and industry.
